Greece: Our Old Friend

Image
Adnan Oktar's piece in Eurasia Review (USA):  When the WWI ended leaving a horrible trail of destruction behind, the belligerent countries sat down to square accounts with one another at cold meeting tables. The aftermath of this horrendous war that brought an end to the Ottoman Empire also marked the formation of new Turkey and this new state reached an agreement with the Allied Powers in Lausanne. The exact borders of the new Turkey were determined during this time and the borders of Greece as well as the issues regarding the Turkish minority left in those areas were finalized with the Lausanne Treaty. Last week’s polemics between the Turkish President Mr. Erdoğan, who became the first Turkish President to visit Greece since 1952 and the Greek President Mr. Pavlopoulos, was about the topic of minorities that was determined with the Treaty of Lausanne. Is the Syrian War Really Over?

Image
Adnan Oktar's new piece in Pravda.Ru,  Our ultimate desire is to bring an end to the Syrian Civil War. Far too many Syrians have suffered and lost everything during six years of war and their lives have been essentially destroyed. Millions have sought refuge in neighboring countries and millions more are internally displaced persons within the ruins of their former homeland. The Astana peace process represents the most important initiative to date to bring an end to this horrific conflict. Russia, Turkey and Iran have all played significant roles in trying to bring peace to this war-torn land. All three nations have made compromises to bring peace to the region and come to common ground in order to end this conflict. For example, President Putin has made a lot of efforts to bring security to the region, which turned into a hotbed of conflict and terrorism. Having seen Russia subjected to fragmentation in the early 1990's following the Cold War as well as having experie...

Modern slaves still to shed their shackles

Image
Adnan Oktar's new piece in Daily News,  You may be one of those who think slavery was abolished around 150 years ago. The reason you think that is that you probably have a regular job that you chose to work at willingly.  Forced labor was legally prohibited many years ago in most countries of the world, especially in Europe. Likewise, in Article 4 of the European Convention on Human Rights, slavery and forced labor are also prohibited. But in many parts of the world, including Europe, people are still made to work like slaves despite these legal prohibitions. Forced labor is practiced in many ways, several of which are beatings, threats, blackmail, confinement, detainment, the confiscation of passports and to pay off debts. A meaningful solution to a meaningless war

Image
Adnan Oktar's new piece in Jerusalem Post Today, two-thirds of global trade is transported by sea. This maritime trade has given rise to countless wars since it first started, due to the belief that “whoever controls the seas, controls the world.” While the wars of the past were usually fought directly between countries, today they are mostly fought using proxy armies. The battles in Yemen that have been furiously raging since 2015, albeit with much of the world choosing to ignore them, are a painful and horrible reminder of this struggle for power....  To see the full article please see the links below;  http://harunyahya.com/en/Eser-Tipi/265164/A-meaningful-solution-to-a-meaningless-war  http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/A-meaningful-solution-to-a-meaningless-war-517421

Mr. Adnan Oktar wrote this giant book, the Atlas of Creation against Darwinism.
